I have to confess something here: I do okay at writing essays, but when it comes to fiction, Im mostly rubbish. Its not that Im not good at story, but I dont have the ability to tell a story with characters. My characters come out flat and paper-thinand before you rush to the comments to tell me to practice more, which is the usual response to this when I tell people, its not a practice thing.
